Hi, I’m Silfa Ósk Jónsdóttir — an Icelandic-born artist now based in Denmark. I create surreal drawings && paintings, alongside special effects makeup && bodypaint for performances, festivals, && film. Growing up in a small village on the northwest coast of Iceland, surrounded by raw nature && old stories passed down by my grandparents, gave me a deep love for myths, transformation, && creativity. My art is where these influences meet — a blend of detailed imagery, surreal fantasy, && living performance. Whether I’m sketching, painting, or creating characters through makeup, my work is about exploring identity && storytelling in different forms.
